Anticipation is building for one of Eswatini’s most stylish cultural experiences, as the Makoti Festival returns to the Malkerns Country Club on April 25 , 2026. Renowned for blending music, fashion, and heritage, the festival continues to cement its place as a premium lifestyle event on the regional calendar.

This year’s edition is headlined by South African house music icon and global entrepreneur DJ Zinhle, whose international appeal brings added prestige to the festival’s growing profile. Her performance anchors a carefully curated and versatile lineup that reflects both regional excellence and local creative depth.

Leading Eswatini’s representation is award-winning gospel sensation Nothando Hlophe, celebrated for her powerful vocals and inspirational presence. She is joined by a dynamic mix of genres and styles through performances by Velemseni, Skywhite, GiftedKosie, Culolam, Ash, and Nelson X, ensuring a musical journey that caters to diverse audiences throughout the day.

Festival Director Thembinkosi Mthethwa says the strong response to the 2026 edition highlights the festival’s growing resonance with culture and lifestyle enthusiasts.
“We are extremely encouraged by the overwhelming support we’ve received so far. Phase 1 tickets are nearly sold out, which speaks to how much people connect with what Makoti Festival represents,” Mthethwa said.

“The lineup is intentionally versatile, from gospel and soul to contemporary sounds allowing different generations and tastes to feel included.
