A Spectacular Year-End Jazz Celebration with Msimisi & Samantha

Every December, The Jazz Gallery’s year-end tradition bursts to life in spectacular fashion, and 2025 promises to be no different.

The final show of the year has always been a joyful celebration; an evening where music lovers gather to close the calendar with rhythm, warmth and a renewed appreciation for live performance.

This year, the stage at Luxy Garden will be ignited by the dynamic pairing of Msimisi and Samantha, two artists whose chemistry, musicality and commanding presence make them the perfect catalysts for a festive, memory-filled night.

Set for Thursday, December 11 at 7 PM, the show embraces the spirit of reflection and festivity that defines year-end gatherings. Both performers bring a unique sound shaped by deep emotional expression, technical refinement and a genuine love for the craft. Together, they create a fusion of soulful tones, smooth jazz textures and captivating stage energy that pulls audiences into the heart of their performance. Their ability to blend classic jazz influences with contemporary expression ensures that the evening will be as artistically rich as it is celebratory.

Beyond the music, this event stands as a meaningful showcase for Into Music Society (IMS), the non-profit organisation behind the performance. IMS continues to play a transformative role in Eswatini’s cultural landscape, using performance events not just as entertainment but as fuel for its mission.

The organisation was founded by committed patrons of the arts who sought to expand access to music education, instruments and artistic opportunities for young Swazis. Each show helps advance that purpose, making it possible for the next generation of musicians to grow, learn and eventually take their own place on the stage.

IMS focuses on developing musical talent among youth aged 7–21, providing lessons, instruments and mentorship from experienced musicians. Through its programs, it offers rehearsal space, technical equipment and performance platforms designed to nurture confidence and artistic discipline. Its work ensures that music is understood not only as a hobby but as a viable career path, broadening awareness and opportunity within the community. Thus, the Msimisi and Samantha year-end concert is more than just a party; it is a celebration with purpose.

Each ticket sold contributes to a future where young Swazi artists can thrive, ensuring that the music keeps playing long after the night ends.
