Formally known as Nondumiso Ndlela, Ndumz DJ has introduced an enthralling concept that brings people together, ‘Beatz+ Barrelz by Ndumz’. This is where sounds meet sips, a vibe that flows as smoothly as your favourite pour.
Beatz and Barrelz is a uniquely curated event that celebrates the perfect harmony of wine, food and music. It is a community of wine enthusiasts, foodies and lovers of good music.
“With Beatz and Barrelz, we are cultivating a space for wine appreciation and engaging curious minds interested in knowing/learning more about wine in a more casual/relaxed setting. This concept is basically a summary of who I am outside of my corporate girl mode.”
Beatz & Barrelz is centred around three things that she loves the most: wine, food and music.
Together, the three senses of food, wine, and music produce a sophisticated dining event. With the infusion of “Gastrophysics” – the study of how outside influences affect our perception of taste and satisfaction, this carefully curated combination is the foundation of the event.
You may enhance flavours, create enduring memories, and generate a certain mood by carefully choosing the perfect mixtures. Ndumz DJ got the memo when inventing this stunning concept that is always sold out.
“So I thought, putting them all in one basket and sharing them with others = sharing myself with them. I wanted to create a space where people come to have a good time with a beautiful glass of wine in hand and lots of laughter in the background. Most of the guests are also my biggest supporters in my DJing career too, which is such a huge blessing. Beatz & Barrelz is such a cool event.
Two Editions Sold Out & Session 3 Dates Announced
This beautiful gathering has consistently sold out and drawn crowds of influencers, socialites, city girls, and the boys too, who have all given the event a big thumbs up on the socials.
The next edition, according to Ndumz DJ, will be hosted at Alliance Française in Mbabane on November 22. It is a spring/summer edition, so patrons can expect more fresh ambiance, whispers of summer, and an unforgettable experience.
“All I can say is they have to prepare their palates for some delicious pairings. Wine will be poured, and glasses will be swirled till sunset.”
Ndumz sees Beatz & Barrelz grow into a bigger and well-established event offering the same beautiful experience. Her goal is to continuously grow an authentic audience of wine, food and music lovers.
She aims to continuously give creatives a chance through collaborations with up-and-coming chefs, DJs/artists and creatives in Eswatini, giving them a platform to showcase their talents.
“We also aim at collaborating with local businesses, both SMEs and corporates that align with our brand, as well as wine brands from outside the country.
