The Eswatini Farmers Market is back with its 2025 edition and this year, it’s turning up the heat with a “Let’s Go Tropical” theme! What started as a small community market has grown into one of the country’s most anticipated lifestyle festivals, celebrating local art, music, food, and entrepreneurship.
Born from a vision to uplift local artists and SME business owners, the Eswatini Farmers Market has always been about bringing people together through creativity and culture. “This concept brings people together through food, music and arts and as an artist myself, this is something I enjoy,” says the festival’s director, Culolami. It’s this vision that continues to drive the festival’s growth, transforming it into a hub of creativity, culture, and connection.

This year’s edition is truly family-oriented, with exciting additions for all age groups. The much-loved Kids Zone is back — bigger and better! Children will have their very own stage featuring talented South African child performers, interactive games, PlayStation 5 challenges, dance classes, and even brand ambassadorship workshops. It’s a wholesome space designed for creativity and joy.
Music lovers are also in for a treat! The 2025 line-up is a mix of global beats and local vibes, promising an unforgettable festival experience. Back by popular demand is Sun-EL Musician, joined by South African stars DJ Mörda, Mpo-wave, and MaWhoo. The line-up was inspired by audience feedback, ensuring that every beat matches the festival’s tropical energy. Alongside these acts, expect local musicians, dancers, and crafters showcasing Eswatini’s best creative talent.

The journey of the Eswatini Farmers Market has been one of growth, resilience, and transformation. What began as a small community gathering has evolved into a major lifestyle and cultural event. Along the way, the organizers have faced challenges, but each obstacle has only fueled their commitment to improving and creating a better experience for all based on community feedback.
Beyond the music, guests can explore colourful cultural exhibitions, food stalls, and local craft vendors, creating the perfect blend of a traditional market and a modern-day festival. From handcrafted art to delicious food and live entertainment, every corner of the event celebrates Eswatini’s cultural heartbeat.
