The event is scheduled for November 28 promising to be a spectacular night of music, glamour, and redemption.
The announcement, which dropped on IF’s Lounge’s official platforms this week, has reignited excitement among local fans who had eagerly anticipated Babalwa M’s performance during her last scheduled visit.
According to organizers, the November concert aims not only to make up for the missed appearance but also to deliver an even more intimate and immersive experience for her supporters.
“The upcoming makeup show is going to be worth the wait. We’re pulling out all the stops to give fans an unforgettable night…” said IFs Lounge on their social media platforms.

The event, themed “The Make Up Show,” will feature a combination of live performances, DJ sets, and curated experiences highlighting Eswatini’s nightlife flair. While full details are yet to be released, organizers have teased that fans can expect surprise local acts, collaborations, and an exclusive VIP experience for early ticket buyers.
Born Babalwa Mavuso in Orlando, Soweto, the 31-year-old artist has become a defining voice in South Africa’s soulful Amapiano scene. Her velvety vocals and lyrical vulnerability have earned her a loyal following across Southern Africa. After first gaining attention with her 2020 EP Bayeke, Babalwa M has consistently impressed audiences with her signature blend of smooth harmonies and heartfelt storytelling.
Her 2024 sophomore EP, Pisces, solidified her position as one of the genre’s most authentic and versatile artists. The standout single Pholisa; a collaboration with renowned producer Kelvin Momo, featuring Stixx and Baby S.O.N debuted at number three on both local and international charts. That same year, she graced the cover of Apple Music’s Isgubhu playlist, spotlighting the continent’s most influential electronic and dance artists.
In October 2024, Babalwa released her acclaimed studio album Candour, which saw tracks like Bo Thata, Diala Ngothando, and Mthuthuzeli dominate streaming platforms. Known for her ethereal sound and calming stage presence, she’s often praised for bringing emotional depth and spiritual warmth to Amapiano’s ever-evolving soundscape.
Babalwa M’s upcoming Manzini performance marks her first live appearance in Eswatini since her chart-topping success and her recent marriage to John Kimani in August, a union that made waves across entertainment circles in South Africa.
Fans are already flooding social media with messages of excitement, with many praising IF’s Lounge for giving the artist another opportunity to make things right.
“We forgive her; all we want is her music live,” one fan commented. “Babalwa’s voice is healing. We can’t wait!”
