Nothando Hlophe’s “Methodist Medley” Hits 2 million Views and Earns Crown Gospel Nomination

Gospel sensation Nothando Hlophe continues to make waves across the continent as her live performance video “Methodist Medley” surpasses two million YouTube views within just a month of its release.

Recorded live at the Mavuso Trade Centre as part of her inspiring project “A New Dawn,” the medley has captured hearts with its powerful blend of worship, heritage, and grace, reaffirming Nothando’s place as one of Eswatini’s most treasured voices.

A heartfelt celebration of faith and unity, “Methodist Medley” draws from traditional hymns deeply rooted in Methodist worship, reimagined through Nothando’s signature soulful delivery.

The performance’s authenticity, spirit, and musical excellence have resonated far beyond the kingdom’s borders, earning her widespread acclaim.

Reflecting on the milestone, Nothando expressed deep gratitude to her supporters and partners, particularly Eswatini Mobile, whose sponsorship made A New Dawn possible.

Adding to this season of celebration, Nothando has also been nominated for Best of Africa at the prestigious Crown Gospel Music Awards; one of the continent’s highest honours in gospel music. 

The Crown Gospel Awards, founded in 2008 in South Africa, celebrate excellence in gospel across multiple categories, recognizing artists who inspire and uplift through faith-filled artistry.
