Eswatini’s creative scene is set to take centre stage with the launch of the Awaken Africa Talent Awards (AATA); an inspiring initiative designed to recognize, empower, and reward the country’s boldest and most innovative youth.
The official launch of the Awaken Africa Talent Awards 2025 was hosted at Brussels Lounge last week.
AATA serves as a premier platform where undiscovered talent meets real industry opportunity.
According to a press statement, the awards aim to bridge the gap between creativity and livelihood, turning artistic passion into tangible success stories. From performers and producers to innovators and influencers, AATA celebrates the diversity of Eswatini’s talent landscape.
“The competition promises cash prizes, trophies, and exclusive opportunities, offering young creatives a chance not only to showcase their skills but also to gain access to mentorship and market exposure. Through this initiative, emerging talents will be able to connect with industry leaders, build networks, and gain the visibility needed to propel their careers forward,” reads the statement.

The Awaken Africa Talent Awards encompass a wide range of categories, reflecting the rich variety of creative pursuits in Eswatini. Categories include DJ, MC, Singer, Comedian, Music Producer, Influencer, Fashion, Craftsperson, Tech, and Limitless Creator (PWD).
Two special recognition awards; young Innovator of the Year and Miss Authentic Nelisa. This recognition award will honour individuals who embody exceptional creativity, leadership, and authenticity.
