From performances sticking to set time, to the impeccable organization as well as the loyal community, the event returned with a clearer identity, building on its reputation as a carefully curated deep and electronic house experience.
From the moment guests arrived, there was a sense of familiarity. Faces seen before. People who understand the music without needing explanation. It felt less like a typical night out and more like a reunion thatโs close, intentional, and laced with exclusive music..
A Crowd You Can Recognise
With 22 Editions hosted in Eswatini and South Africa combined since 2022, UTWโs crowd has always had a distinct identity.
The dress sense is effortless but expressive. Some leaned into clean, minimal looks, while others embraced bold textures and statement pieces. It is a space where style feels natural rather than forced, no one looked like they didnโt want to be there.

There are also familiar faces, people who do not just attend UTW, but belong to it. Their consistent presence reinforces the idea that this is not a once-off event, it is culture. In the mix was also made up of DJs, creatives, personalities, professionals you barely see out, proving the value UTW offers at reasonable entrance fees.
The Sound That Holds It Together
At the centre of it all is the music, curated by Sukoluhle โ!Sooksโ Dlamini supported by the managing team. His approach remains less about following trends, more about building a complete sonic journey, sealed off by an explosive set he delivered on the night.
The UTW lineup balanced regional and local talent, including South African acts; Kudbeu (pronounced โcould be youโ), Gabbana and Mamthug, all brought to Eswatini first by UTW, alongside local selectors who held their own throughout the night.

As a growing creative, !Sooks continues to expand his footprint beyond UTW. He is set to tour France in the coming months and is also billed to appear at the MTN Bushfire Festival, one of the Continentโs biggest Festivals in reach, and execution, which is scheduled for the end of May, alongside a number of other carefully selected bookings that reflect his growing influence at a global scale.
Voices From The Deck
UTW continues to give DJs space not just to perform, but to express themselves. Here are sentiments from the local selectors who graced the stage that Saturday evening;

โWhat !Sooks, Mmeli, and the entire team have built is a huge inspiration for anyone trying to create something exclusive and fresh in the industry. Beyond the music, the professional marketing and high-quality sound, videography, and photography provided immense value. It elevated our profiles as artists, opening doors to platforms and audiences we might not have reached on our own. As we strive to break into both local and international markets, having the opportunity to showcase our sound during a peak slot was a massive milestone.โ – Drum Rhythm

โI genuinely enjoyed myself. My set was beautiful and more than anything, the audience enjoyed it too, I saw them dancing throughout my set. Off decks? Now, what happened was a movie, getting to see DJs I look up to, doing what they do best was the most beautiful highlight of my night. Meeting them was another highlight too. I had so much fun, learnt a few things and new records that I can’t wait to share with the audience next time I play.โ – Keiisy

โUTW is always such a class event, and this was our first one on the other side of the decks. We can’t have asked for a better go at it. We thought we’d be a ball of nerves, seeing as we haven’t played music for a live crowd in over 6 years. It was more butterflies than nerves, which was a pleasant surprise for us. I guess you never truly lose it. We’re so greatful to the UTW crew, Antidote Music crew and everyone else who played a material role in us being able to finally get back on the horse. A special shoutout goes to Lenhle, who coordinates the UTW event. Of course, we can’t forget the fans who have been patient with us and supported us throughout our long hiatus. We’re happy to have shared this moment with them. We’re finally open for business once more.โ – Secret Souls

โTo me it was more than a booking but a continuity of a story being written in the House music scene and being part of the journey is more than honor. Preparing a set to tell a story and listening to every song before selection was not an easy task due to the magnitude and respect I have for the event. What I realized about UTW is that the music is more than just about sound, its a unity of music lovers in the kingdom, an event patrons have so much love and respect for and the Antidote team keeps up to the expectation through professionalism from the entrance to the sound and great atmosphere at large.โ – Katz
An Intimate Setting That Works
The venue continues to play an important role.

Onyx Restaurant offers an intimate layout where the distance between DJ and crowd almost disappears. There is no barrier, no disconnect. The music feels direct and immediate.
That closeness shapes the experience. Conversations happen naturally. Reactions are shared. Moments feel collective rather than individual.
More Than Just One Night
UTWโs growth reflects a broader shift in Eswatiniโs house music scene. There is a move towards intentional events, spaces that prioritise sound, community, and consistency over scale.
Looking ahead, more UTW is finding its strength in consistency. Not by trying to be everything but by being specific.

A clear sound.
A recognisable crowd.
A shared understanding.
And in that, it is quietly building something that feels like a family.
