Food will form part of the lifestyle experience at MTN Bushfire 2026 as festivalgoers gather for the 19th edition of the event in Malkerns.
According to the festival’s food guide, this year’s food zones were curated to reflect the theme “Juncture of Hum”, bringing together people, cultures, flavours and ideas in one shared space.

Food Passport Challenge
A Food Passport competition has also been introduced as part of this year’s festival food experience. Festivalgoers will collect free Food Passports from the Festival Info Stand before visiting at least four different food environments across the festival grounds. Participants will receive unique stamps after making purchases at participating food zones before returning completed passports to enter a lucky draw. Five winners will each receive prize hampers sponsored by partners including Coca-Cola and Spotted Horse, along with two tickets to the 20th anniversary edition of MTN Bushfire.

The food zones
Different food zones will be spread across the festival grounds, each offering its own atmosphere and dining experience. Organisers said the spaces were designed to cater for different tastes and moods throughout the weekend.
“From vibrant street food hubs packed with bold flavours to slower premium lounges designed for intentional dining and connection, every zone offers a different rhythm, mood and taste experience,”
Festivalgoers will have access to quick meals, street food options and more relaxed dining spaces where groups can gather between performances. Food spaces are also expected to become social areas where attendees connect and spend time together outside the music stages.
The guide highlights that the food experience has become part of the broader Bushfire culture, alongside music, fashion and art.
“Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite between performances, sharing meals with friends or settling into an immersive culinary moment, there’s a space for every appetite,” reads the guide.
Bushfire has continued to expand its lifestyle offering over the years, with food experiences becoming one of the attractions many attendees look forward to during the festival weekend.
From morning coffee spots to late-night comfort meals, vendors are expected to serve festivalgoers throughout the day and night as activities continue across the different stages and entertainment areas.
