Sibu Manzini is set to release his latest Afro House project, ‘Memeta’, this Friday, bringing together the production of the Eswatini DJ and producer with the vocals of Bholoja and live keys by Thando Magic.
Released through Xpressed Records, the project will feature two versions of the same song, the Original Mix and the Club Mix.
While both versions carry the same message, they approach the production differently. The Original Mix leans towards the soulful and melodic side of Afro House, while the Club Mix places more emphasis on the dancefloor while retaining the character of the original recording.

‘Memeta’ centres on facing adversity and turning to God for strength. The song’s message is carried by Bholoja, whose vocals sit at the centre of the production, while Thando Magic’s live keys add an organic element to the electronic arrangement.
For Manzini, the collaboration brings together different aspects of Eswatini’s music scene in one record. Bholoja is known for his work in the country’s contemporary music space, particularly through his blend of traditional Swazi influences with soul and modern African sounds.
His contribution to ‘Memeta’ places an established voice within Manzini’s Afro House production.
Thando Magic’s contribution comes through the live keys, adding another instrumental layer to the record. The combination of live musicianship and electronic production forms part of the sound of ‘Memeta’ , with the two elements working around the song’s central message.
Manzini said he is looking forward to the release and grateful for the continued support from the people who listen to his music.
“I am looking forward to the drop and I appreciate the support my listeners give me,” he said.

The upcoming release follows Manzini’s continued work as a DJ, producer and curator within the local electronic music scene.
His work has included live performances and collaborations, with the artist continuing to develop his sound through both recorded music and performances.
His recent appearances have also placed him on some of Eswatini’s major entertainment platforms. The Sibu Manzini Project was part of the 2026 MTN Bushfire programme, adding to his growing list of festival appearances and giving audiences an opportunity to experience his work in a live setting.
The release of ‘Memeta’ now shifts the focus back to his recorded work, with the collaboration allowing Manzini to explore the more soulful and melodic side of Afro House while still maintaining a version intended for club settings.
The two-track format gives the song room to exist in two different spaces. The Original Mix is built around the melodic and soulful qualities of the record, allowing Bholoja’s vocals and Thando Magic’s keys to remain prominent.
The Club Mix takes the same material towards the dancefloor, giving the production a more energetic direction without changing the message at the heart of the song.
Bholoja’s involvement is also significant within the context of the collaboration. Over the years, the singer has established himself as one of Eswatini’s recognised musical voices, with his work drawing from traditional sounds, soul, folk and contemporary African music.

His music has often incorporated themes drawn from everyday life, faith, identity and social experiences.
His voice gives Memeta a strong lyrical presence, while Manzini’s production provides the electronic framework for the song. Thando Magic’s keys help connect the two elements, bringing live instrumentation into the arrangement.
The release also reflects the collaborative nature of Eswatini’s music industry, where artists from different backgrounds and generations continue to work together across genres.
Memeta brings together an established vocalist, a live instrumentalist and an electronic producer, each contributing a different element to the final recording.
For Manzini, the release comes with an acknowledgement of the audience that has followed his work. His appreciation for listener support comes at a time when he continues to release music while building his presence through performances and collaborations.
The decision to release both an Original Mix and a Club Mix also gives DJs and listeners two versions suited to different settings.
The Original Mix keeps the focus on the song’s melodic qualities, while the Club Mix is structured with a dancefloor environment in mind.
Memeta is scheduled for release on August 21, through Xpressed Records. The project will be available in both versions, with Bholoja on vocals and Thando Magic on live keys.
While the release date approaches, Manzini is preparing to add another record to his growing catalogue, with Memeta bringing together Afro House production, live instrumentation and a message rooted in faith and perseverance.
For listeners who have followed his work, the release offers another opportunity to hear the direction Manzini is taking with his music.
For the artist himself, it is also another step in an ongoing musical journey shaped by collaboration, performance and the support of the audience that continues to listen.
