After a successful debut in 2023, the much-anticipated Wine Soirée is set to make its grand return next year, this time rebranded as the Eswatini Wine Festival.
The event, known for its elegance, fine dining, and curated wine experiences, will once again bring together wine lovers from across the country and beyond.
Reflecting on the journey, Wine Boutique founder and director, Lungile Motsa, said the overwhelming support from attendees inspired the festival’s return. “We believe that ambience makes an event, but the people are the most critical part of a successful one. The energy, warmth, and appreciation from Maswati lamahle and our expatriate community made the first edition unforgettable,” she shared.

Motsa added that a few tourists were also spotted at the previous event, showing the festival’s growing appeal as a lifestyle and tourism experience. “You came through and made the first Eswatini Wine Festival the success it was — and that’s why we’re bringing it back,” she said.
While the official launch date is yet to be announced, anticipation is already building for what promises to be another unforgettable celebration of wine, culture, and community spirit.
The Growing Wine Culture in Eswatini
Events like Wine Boutique’s Wine & Dine highlight the growing sophistication of Eswatini’s food and beverage scene.
Through initiatives led by passionate entrepreneurs like Lungile Motsa, wine appreciation is gaining momentum, with more people exploring the nuances of different varietals and pairings.

“This is only the beginning,” Lungile remarked as the evening drew to a close.
“Our goal is to build a vibrant wine culture in Eswatini; one that celebrates craftsmanship, supports local hospitality, and connects us with global wine communities.”
As guests raised their final glasses to toast the night, one thing was clear: the Wine and Dine experience was not just about savouring fine wines and gourmet food, it was about savouring the moment itself.
