Fast-rising Manzini music group Emagagu is launching an official website to expand its digital footprint following a rapid ascension in the local music industry.
Emagagu is an award-winning Eswatini Afro-fusion and African trap trio from Manzini. Formed by Percy P. Thwala, Bonkhe Thwala, and Buhlebe’bezwe Ndzinisa, the group blends contemporary sounds with rich Swati cultural storytelling

Formed in late 2024, the trio gained widespread recognition after winning the MTN Bushfire Firefly Top 10 and securing performance slots at major events, including the Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival.
The new online platform is designed to serve as a central hub where fans, media, and prospective industry partners can access performance schedules, tour announcements, and exclusive news.
The group views the digital expansion as an essential step toward building a sustainable brand beyond the kingdom as they prepare to release their next single, Tsatsa Konkhe.

Musically, the trio combines traditional Swati influences with contemporary Afropop and African trap while keeping storytelling at the core of their work.
Looking ahead to next year, Emagagu plans to introduce stripped-back live concept projects titled EmagaguReimagined and Emagagu and Friends: The Unplugged Experience, aiming to connect their roots with broader Southern African and international audiences.
In February 2025, the trio released ‘Swati Love Letter’, a romantic single that revealed a softer side to their artistry. The song, performed in siSwati, demonstrated their commitment to preserving local language through contemporary music while introducing audiences to a polished, radio-friendly sound.
Another significant turning point came when Emagaguentered into a strategic partnership with Hope Creative Concepts, a move that marked the beginning of a new chapter in their career.
The collaboration focused on strengthening the group’s brand, improving live performance opportunities, and preparing them for regional exposure.
Since then, the trio has continued to build momentum through performances at festivals, community events, corporate functions, and youth-focused platforms, earning praise for their energetic stage chemistry and ability to connect with audiences.
Despite their growing success, Emagagu remains committed to the values that first inspired their journey. Their performances are rooted in cultural expression, combining vibrant choreography, live vocal harmonies, and audience interaction to create memorable experiences.
The trio has built a reputation for energetic performances, vibrant stage presence, and music that celebrates love, identity, and African culture while remaining relatable to young audiences.
