Free Lula Combo with Every MTN Bushfire Ticket

Every MTN Bushfire Festival ticket purchased will come with a free Lula Combo, as MTN Eswatini moves to enhance the festival experience by ensuring attendees stay connected throughout the event.

The offer was announced by MTN Eswatini Chief Executive Officer Jerry Soko during the MTN Bushfire media briefing on Thursday, ahead of the festival’s milestone 20th edition.

Soko said the initiative forms part of the telecommunications company’s commitment to delivering practical value to customers while supporting one of Eswatini’s most prominent cultural events.

The free Lula Combo will enable festival-goers to remain connected as they capture performances, share memories on social media and communicate with friends and family during the festival.

“For close to two decades, MTN has proudly walked this journey with Bushfire, growing alongside one of Eswatini’s most iconic cultural platforms,” Soko said.

He noted that the festival had grown from a major Eswatini cultural event into an internationally recognised platform that showcases the country to the world.

Soko said the partnership was built on a shared belief in the power of connection, creativity, culture and community, adding that MTN’s role was to ensure reliable connectivity that allows people to share and celebrate experiences wherever they are.

Beyond the free Lula Combo, MTN will offer discounted Bushfire tickets to customers who purchase through its Mobile Money (MoMo) platform. The initiative is intended to make the festival more accessible while encouraging the use of digital financial services.

The company will also provide Wi-Fi connectivity across the festival grounds, enabling attendees to share content in real time and stay in touch with loved ones. International visitors will have access to eSIM solutions to help them connect upon arrival in Eswatini.

These offerings form part of MTN’s Ngits’iPlan – One SIM, Endless Possibilities promise, which seeks to integrate connectivity, financial services and lifestyle experiences to deliver greater value to customers.

The partnership also extends beyond entertainment through community development, digital inclusion and sustainability initiatives.

As part of this year’s collaboration, the MTN Skills Academy will provide training in artificial intelligence and project management for the Bushfire team. The programme is designed to strengthen participants’ skills in planning, innovation and event delivery, with benefits extending beyond the festival.

Soko said MTN’s partnership with Bushfire was about more than providing connectivity, emphasising the importance of linking people to opportunities, growth and a brighter future.

The initiatives underline MTN’s broader approach to using its network, digital services and partnerships to support customers and communities while contributing to the continued growth of a festival that has become an important part of Eswatini’s cultural identity.
