Zamo Dlamini Lands New Role on Moja Love

Eswatini-born entertainer Nomzamo ‘Zamo’ Dlamini is expanding her television work after announcing that she has joined a new show on South African channel Moja Love, where she will help families work through personal conflicts and difficult relationships.

Dlamini shared the news on her official TikTok account in a post published three days before the screenshot was captured. In the announcement, she said she was joining a new MojaLove production focused on helping families resolve ‘kukipita’, and invited people who need assistance with family interventions to contact the team.

The announcement introduces a different aspect of Dlamini’s work in entertainment, which has included music, acting and professional make-up artistry. While the programme’s title and premiere date have not yet been established, her post confirms her involvement in a format centred on family intervention.

The new role comes after a notable year for the entertainer, who won Make-Up Artist of the Year at the 2026 Basadi in Music Awards in Johannesburg. The recognition added to a career that has developed across several creative fields, allowing her to build a profile beyond music alone.

Known professionally as Zamo, Dlamini is a Swati-born singer, songwriter and actress who is now based in Johannesburg.

Her career has also established her as a make-up artist, with work that has reached South African musicians and other entertainment personalities.

In an August 2025 Dlamini spoke about the importance of remaining connected to home while building a career away from Eswatini. Her work has continued to reflect the different interests she has pursued within the entertainment industry.

Her music career began early. A profile published by Music InAfrica records that she started singing at the age of six, influenced by a family with a strong musical and church background. She recorded her first demo as a teenager, and her music gained attention on local radio.

Her career subsequently took her to regional platforms. She released the album Injabulo through South African record label Universal Music and released a music video for her song Lobola, which received exposure on South African television music platforms.

Dlamini has also performed at events in Eswatini and beyond, including MTN Bushfire and the Eswatini International Trade Fair. In 2014, she became a member of South African gospel choir Joyous Celebration, adding another dimension to her musical experience.

Her acting work has included a role in the film Jackpot Mathambo, while her wider entertainment experience has given her opportunities to work across music, theatre and screen productions.

Alongside these pursuits, make-up artistry has become an important part of her professional identity.

In August 2026, Dlamini won Make-Up Artist of the Year at the fifth annual Basadi in Music Awards, held at Joburg Theatre. The award recognised her work in a field that often operates behind the scenes but plays a central role in music videos, stage performances, advertising and television productions.

Her recognition followed an earlier continental honour at the Africa Under 40 CEOs Summit and Honors, held in Sandton, Johannesburg, on June 20, 2026.

The continental recognition highlighted her work as an entertainer and make-up artist, while the Basadi award placed her beauty work before a wider regional audience.

The achievement also reflects the range of professional work she has pursued. Rather than relying on a single discipline, Dlamini has continued to develop her presence across different areas of entertainment.

Her latest television announcement adds another opportunity to extend that experience, this time through a programme that deals with family relationships and conflict.

Moja Love has established itself as a recognised South African television channel through programmes that explore relationships, family disputes and other personal issues. Launched on February 14, 2018, the channel describes its programming as an effort to present South African life in an honest and unfiltered way.

Available on DStv Channel 157, the broadcaster has developed a slate of reality and factual entertainment programmes that often bring private disputes into a public setting, with presenters or facilitators helping participants address their concerns.
