House music lovers have another date to look forward to, with House Musiq Fest (HMF) announcing its return on Saturday, April 3, 2027, as the festival prepares for what is expected to be its eighth edition.
The announcement signals the return of one of Eswatini’s established house music gatherings, which has steadily grown from a local event into a platform attracting music lovers and performers from across the region.
Organised by Swazi Boy Entertainment, the festival has built its identity around house music, bringing together local talent, established South African DJs and audiences who share a passion for the sound.

In a message shared with its followers, the festival invited music lovers to save the date, describing the upcoming event as another opportunity to celebrate soulful music, good company and memorable moments on the dancefloor.
“A thousand apologies to you, but we must interrupt your scrolling,” the announcement read, before calling on those who live and breathe good music to look forward to the festival’s return.
The eighth edition is scheduled for the weekend after Easter, with organisers promising further details in the coming months.
The venue, artist line-up and ticket information are yet to be announced.

House Musiq Fest has built a following through successive editions featuring a mix of local performers and prominent names from South Africa’s house music scene.
The 2024 edition, held at Manzini Club, featured house music veteran Vinny Da Vinci, Monique Bingham, Artwork Sound, Ace4nic and other performers.
That edition also saw the festival partner with Trace TV, which documented the event, while additional attractions included food and lifestyle stalls, games and health and financial service exhibitors.
The festival continued its run in 2025 with its sixth edition, featuring Vinny Da Vinci, Brandon Dhludhlu and a selection of local acts.

By then, the event had expanded its reach beyond the kingdom, with promotional activities in neighbouring South Africa and Mozambique reflecting its ambitions to attract a wider regional audience.
Its seventh edition took place at Manzini Club on 28 March 2026, featuring South African acts including SGVO, C-Black, Oskido and Dustinho alongside local performers.
The festival also introduced a fan-voting initiative that gave supporters an opportunity to influence the selection of artists for the event, including performers from Eswatini.
These developments reflect how the festival has continued to build on its original concept, combining music with opportunities for local DJs to gain exposure and for audiences to experience different sounds within the house music genre.
While the announcement for 2027 has not yet revealed the performers who will take the stage, the confirmed date gives fans an early opportunity to plan for the next instalment.
For now, the message from the organisers is April 3, 2027, is the date to keep open. With more information expected to follow, house music enthusiasts can look forward to another gathering dedicated to the music and the community that surrounds it.
House Musiq Fest has encouraged followers to mark their calendars, promising that more details will be shared soon.
