Stella Jacobs Named Lush Hair Eswatini Ambassador

Stella Jacobs is taking her stage style in a new direction after being announced as the official Eswatini brand ambassador for Lush Hair Africa.

The singer, songwriter, and performer, also known as Inkabikazi, will represent Lush Hair Eswatini through a partnership with her entertainment company, Gem of Africa.

The partnership will see Lush Hair take care of Jacobs’ hair looks for performances, music videos and other stage appearances.

For Jacobs, whose music career has continued to grow through live performances and new releases, the partnership brings together two parts of her public image: music and style.

“Your girl is now a Lush Hair Eswatini brand ambassador,” Jacobs announced in sharing the news, describing the partnership as a major development for both Gem of Africa and Lush Hair Eswatini.

She said the brand will now be responsible for her hair looks for performances, music videos and stage appearances, adding that the partnership reflects qualities she associates with Lush Hair, including beauty, confidence and quality.

The announcement comes as Jacobs continues to build her profile within Eswatini’s music industry. Based in Mvutjini, the Afro-pop and African trap artist began recording professionally in 2021 after appearing on Young Zesh’sUng’colele with DJ Citie.

She later developed her own catalogue, including songs such as Inkabikazi, Ngak’thola, Ng’yahamba, Together andBayethe.

Jacobs has also become a familiar name on local stages. She placed among the top three performers in the 2024 MTN Bushfire Firefly competition and won the NACA Outstanding Female Artist award.

In 2026, she was announced as part of the line-up for SjavaKa Jama Live in Eswatini, giving her another opportunity to perform alongside one of South Africa’s established music names.

Beyond music, Jacobs established Gem of Africa in 2025 as an independent record label and entertainment company, with interests including record label services, events management and talent management.

The venture has provided another platform for her to take greater control of her creative work and brand.

Her new partnership with Lush Hair adds another dimension to that growing brand. Lush Hair Africa is an African hair-extension brand established in Nigeria in 2017.

The company describes its focus as helping African women enhance their hair and express themselves through different styles. Its range includes braids, crochets, weaves, and hair-care products, with products such as kinky twists, passion twists, curly braids, and jumbo braids featured in its catalogue.

The brand has also positioned itself around hair styling as part of personal expression, making the collaboration with a performing artist particularly suited to Jacobs’ work.

One of the products being highlighted through the partnership is the Mega Marley Dreads, which are available in different colours.

For an artist whose appearances move between music videos, live shows and public events, hair becomes part of the overall presentation. With Lush Hair now attached to those looks, Jacobs is set to carry the partnership from the stage to the screen.

And judging by her announcement, she is already asking fans to think beyond the partnership itself.
