Luve Car Wash Attendant Scoops TOYOTA Quantum in INSTACASH Grand Prize Draw

A 24-year-old car wash attendant from Luve is celebrating a life-changing victory after winning a brand-new Toyota Quantum in the inaugural INSTACASH Win-a-Quantum competition.

Khombindlela Vilakati was named the grand prize winner during a live draw conducted on Wednesday morning. The highly anticipated draw marked the conclusion of the nationwide campaign, with his name randomly selected from thousands of entries by a Channel YemaSwati journalist Kimberly Mavuso in a process designed to ensure transparency and fairness.

Shortly after the announcement, Vilakati was contacted live and verified as the winner. He confirmed that he lives in Luve and had been actively participating in the competition since its launch last year by consistently purchasing raffle tickets.

Speaking moments after learning of his win, Vilakati expressed shock and gratitude, describing the moment as both unexpected and life-changing. Currently working at a local car wash, he said the prize represents a significant turning point in his life.

โ€œIโ€™m very happy. I didnโ€™t expect this at all,โ€ he said. โ€œThis will help me start something of my own.โ€

Vilakati revealed plans to use the Toyota Quantum to launch a transport business, a move he believes will provide him with a sustainable source of income while also contributing to job creation within his community.

Widely used in the countryโ€™s public transport sector, the vehicle offers a practical pathway toward financial independence.

The INSTACASH Win-a-Quantum competition drew participation from across Eswatini, with thousands of entrants purchasing raffle tickets in hopes of securing the coveted prize. The campaign forms part of Instacashโ€™s broader strategy to strengthen customer engagement and expand its presence in the local market.

As the competition comes to a close, Vilakatiโ€™s win highlights the impact such initiatives can have, turning ordinary participation into extraordinary opportunity.
