About Emagodomane Farm
Emagodomane farm is best known for its high quality ‘Less sugar – More fruit’ artisanal jams and marmalades, and produces over 20 flavours, most of which you wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else. Their best sellers are the unique flavours of Strawberry Granadilla, Banana Granadilla and their mysterious ‘Beauty & Beast’.
Emagodomane Farm was inherited by Inge and Thorsten from their stepmother and is famously known for being the oldest macadamia orchard in Eswatini, established in 1990. The farm’s primary crop is Macadamia Nuts, as the SiSwati name Emagodomane implies, however their vast gardens also feature many different established fruit trees, herbs and vegetables – with more produce than they can consume. Without wanting to have their good produce go to waste, the team at Emagodomane Farm came up with the idea of selling some of its produce at local Farmer’s Markets.

With all their products grown in their gardens that hold an abundant amount of fresh produce, the Emagodomane team further innovated to process their fresh goods and house a host of products ranging from organic honey, fruit cordials & vinegar, honey-roasted macadamias, herbal teas and more.
Spreading the Farmer’s Market roots…
According to the organisers, the Farmer’s Markets have become more than just a setting where you can purchase good quality produce, but have become a welcoming social space for friends and family to meet in a relaxed atmosphere. Not only this, but the Farmer’s Markets hosted in Ezulwini and Malkerns are also accommodative for children, with entertainment ranging from face painting, toy zones, jungle gyms and bouncy castles.

With their growing involvement in the organising of the Ekuphileni Farmers Market, that has been around for several years, Emagodomane Farm has opened up more farmers market doors around Eswatini.
In 2023, they launched the Ezulwini Farmers market at Legends SHARED, which has its doors opened every second Saturday of the month and the next hosting set for the 11th July at Legends SHARED from 9am to 3pm. This market has rapidly become a popular outing and was even awarded 2nd place at the Eswatini Consumer Choice Awards under the awards’ “Lifestyle” category.
The latest edition the Emagodomane’s Farmer’s Market lineup was launched in May 2026 at the Malkerns Country Club and is aptly dubbed the Malkerns Country Market. With its great reception from local residents, farmers and the greater community, the next edition has since been slated for the 4th of July from 9am to 4pm and is one that is not to be missed.

Fresh Goods & Family Fun Vibes
The growing array of the Farmer’s Markets presents many special offerings, but the most special is that all products sold are ‘Made in Eswatini’. On offer is not just jams and marmalades but if you’re seeking fresh bakery items, free range poultry and eggs and even handmade crafts, fragrances and soaps – these markets provide all of it, with editions featuring a combination of over 80 various stalls and vendors from across the country.
With there being a rise in farmers markets in the area, this provides people with healthier fresh produce and good economic growth for organisations and vendors. Other popular vendors you can find and that are being supported at the markets include the likes of Imbali Craft Gin, Explorers Smash Burgers, and Sizzlers (showcasing at Ezulwini Farmers Market and Malkerns Country Market only), as well as Free Birds Eswatini, Scoops n Giggles and Vegan Eswatini if you’re feeling peckish on your visits.

If you are a lover of handmade and natural crafts Fiso’s Crochet Market and Imbita Naturals will also be making appearances at the markets to come over the next three weekends alongside many more.
Emagodomane invites all to come and join the festivities and experience fun, friendly vibes at one or all of its upcoming Farmer’s Markets. More information is also available of the Emagodomane and its various farmer’s markets socials linked below:
