Women from across Eswatini are set to gather for an inspiring day of dialogue, healing and empowerment at the eGumeni! Mental Health’s Summon to All the Ladies of the Land, an initiative by the Gogo Eswatini and Slwane Care Foundation aimed at breaking the silence surrounding mental health.

Scheduled for August 8, at Happy Valley Hotel in Ezulwini, the summit will run from 9:30am to 4:00pm, bringing together respected professionals, advocates and community leaders to address the growing importance of mental wellness among women.

The event promises an engaging programme featuring interactive panel discussions, presentations, motivational talks and networking opportunities, creating a safe space where women can learn, share experiences and access practical tools for emotional wellbeing.

Leading the conversations is an impressive lineup of speakers drawn from diverse fields. Among them are Pastor Ntsiki Malaza, who will offer insights on faith and resilience, and Lungile Dlamini-Leokaoke, a human resources professional, author and mental health advocate. They are joined by Lwandle Simelane, Secretary General of the Eswatini National Commission for UNESCO Youth Leader Research, whose work champions innovation and women’s empowerment.

The programme also features counselling psychologist Senele Mdluli, psychotherapist Sesenele Sukati, certified money coach Vuyo Khumalo, entrepreneur and communications strategist Zindzi Thwala, psychologist and workplace wellness consultant Nceda Myeni, youth and women’s empowerment advocate Temvelo Mtsetfwa, registered general nurse and midwife Andile Shakwane, and mental health advocate Enhle Mazibuko.

Guiding the day’s discussions will be moderator Lindokuhle Mthupha, a communications and brand professional known for facilitating impactful conversations.

Organisers say the summit seeks to encourage open conversations about mental health while equipping women with resources to manage stress, anxiety, burnout and other challenges affecting their daily lives. It also aims to strengthen support networks and remind attendees that seeking help is a sign of strength rather than weakness.

Beyond the educational sessions, the event will provide valuable networking opportunities, allowing women from different backgrounds to connect, collaborate and build lasting relationships centred on wellness and personal growth.

Entrance is E250, with organisers encouraging attendees to embrace the event’s inclusive dress code: “Come As You Are.” Affordable meals and refreshments will be available at the venue, while tickets are available exclusively throughSmart Ticket.
